Returns, right of withdrawal and warranty

Right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer — that is, as a natural person buying for purposes unrelated to your business or profession and without giving a VAT number — you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without having to give any reason, under artt. 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code.

The 14 days run from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, take possession of the product.

To exercise your right of withdrawal it is enough to send us an explicit statement before the deadline expires, by any means: e-mail to info@vintageloop.it, WhatsApp to 331 2039599, or registered letter to our registered office. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you are not obliged to.

After notifying your withdrawal you have a further 14 days to return the product.

Condition of the returned product

The product must be returned in its original packaging and perfectly clean, complete with all the accessories received. The security seal and the tag attached to each item must not be cut or damaged.

You may handle the product only as far as is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a shop. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.

Refund

We refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned product or proof of its dispatch, whichever is earlier.

The refund is made using the same payment method used for the purchase, at no additional cost to you. If you paid by bank transfer, we will ask you for your bank details in order to proceed.

The direct cost of returning the product is payable by you.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

Under art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply, among other cases, to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, or to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

Nor does the right of withdrawal apply to services fully performed at the consumer's express request, under art. 59(1)(a) of the Italian Consumer Code. This covers the Entrupy certificate of authenticity: it is generated on specific request before shipping and, once issued, the service is deemed fully performed and the corresponding amount is non-refundable. The right of withdrawal on the purchased item, however, remains fully exercisable.

The right of withdrawal is available only to consumers: purchases made with a VAT number are not covered.

Wrong or non-conforming product

If you receive a product other than the one you ordered, write to us immediately at info@vintageloop.it or send a registered letter to our registered office, keeping the original packaging and the delivery note.

We undertake to collect the product at our expense and to send you, also at our expense, the item you ordered.

Damage in transit

On delivery, check the contents, conformity and condition of the parcel before signing the proof of receipt, while the courier is still present. If you notice anything wrong, sign the transport document adding the words "merce accettata con riserva" (goods accepted subject to reservation) and specifying the problem found: this is your right under art. 1698 of the Italian Civil Code.

Reservations communicated only verbally to the courier have no legal effect and make it much harder to obtain compensation from the carrier.

Legal guarantee of conformity

All products for sale are second-hand. Each one is photographed individually and its product page states materials, measurements, model, general condition and any known defects or signs of wear.

Items are sold and bought in the condition they are in, and the price reflects that condition. Vintage Loop is liable to the consumer for any lack of conformity with what is stated and shown on the product page, taking previous wear into account and excluding defects arising from normal use of the item.

The legal guarantee of conformity applies for one year from delivery of the product, as provided by art. 133 of the Italian Consumer Code for second-hand goods.
